So we had the 25th reunion this year.

It was sad! There were only four of us there. How pathetic!

2007 Alumnae weekend

Hey there,
If you're all still out there don't forget that Alumnae Weekend is June 23rd and 24th. The Class of 82 is celebrating our 25th reunion! If you are in one of the classes that graduated before or after us you should join in the fun! Come down to Ferdinand for Alumnae Weekend!!!!!! Bring pictures, memories and pretend you're in your teens again.

Reunion

Well this past weekend was the Alumni Reunion Weekend. I didn't graduate in any of the classes that were celebrating but my heart was there with those who were. If you went to this years alumni weekend add a comment and let us know how it went. For the class of 1982 I think we should actually put out a little effort and plan for next year. I will actually be living in Jasper so it won't be hard for me but those who aren't in the area need to get you plans in action and make it happen next year. There were many familiar faces at our 20 year reunion but not enough. I'm sure next years will also be scheduled for the third week in June so start etching out time for your old friends.

Been a while

So it's been a while since the last time I posted. We had a death in our family so things have been a little hectic to say the least. To get back to MHA. Have you all gone to WWW.thedome.org lately? I guess they are having a yard sale on April 1st. If you click on the link you will see some of the pictures of items they are going to sell. Many items will look familiar. There are some very scratchy unappealing blankets that covered our beds. There are lockers for sale, frankly I don't remember ever using lockers so I don't know where they came from, (they don't look like the lockers from the gym). Did anyone lose any luggage because there is a lot of luggage for sale. :) If any of you get to the sale enjoy! I wish I could get down there that weekend but I don't see that happening. Speaking of getting down there, have any of you been back to visit in the last year or two? I try to stop in at least once a year. I take my nieces and nephew down there, they are in awe of the place. My nephew thinks Harry Potter lives there. It's been fun seeing the Sisters and buildings. Memories??

Well, I think all the alumni except for Gaby and I have leapt from the face of the earth! :)

I'm sure most of you have heard that Sister Francesca Brogan or Franny as we lovingly called her died this past month. She used to crack us up with her bohemian humor. I think that she really had the heart of an artist. She saw art in the smallest places, a rock, a few leaves etc....

Thought I would just add my own little memorial to her on the blog.

In the next few weeks I'm going to try to scan some of the old "Newspapers". I found about ten of them and couldn't help thinking about how young we were.

Hope someone else posts besides Gaby and myself.

Here is a start...

I remember walking three point on Sundays after dinner. There was something very peaceful about walking around campus after a quiet dinner. Sundays always seemed a little lazy. I guess I'm glad we didn't get many channels on the T.V. otherwise I'm sure we would have planted our butts on the couch instead of exploring campus.
